Fees vary from the full time
program and the language and
skills courses. Additional fees
may be charged for special
programs or in house visits .
How well trained
are the teachers?
CKC hires only those teachers
with the experience and academic
qualifications that meet or
exceed those required by the
state ministry of education .
All CKC teachers complete an
extensive orientation program,
and participate in ongoing
training sessions in curriculum,
child development, safety, and
classroom management
Will my child be safe?
The safety of
your child is our number one
priority. CKC centers have:

that restricts strangers from

Do you offer
transportation?
CKC before-and-after-school care
programs provide transportation
to and from many local areas.
Check with our admin. staff for
the specific transportation in
your neighborhood.
What will my
child be learning?
Our uniquely designed curriculum
is copyrighted and considered to
be among the best in the
industry. We provide reading,
math, and writing activities in
all our programs, from infancy
through school age. It is
critical that children have
broad-based, global, integrated
learning experiences that
provide the foundation for
future academic success and
life-long skills.
At Cambridge Kids
Center (Primary), we offer a
full UK curriculum enhanced to
take account of the Sudanese
Ministry of Education with many
local dimensions of our school
and the local community.
May I visit my
child in class?
Our Open Door policy encourages
you to visit your child at any
time and participate in daily
lessons and activities. Our
teachers are available daily to
answer questions and discuss any
concerns that you may have. You
will also be kept informed
through regularly scheduled
teacher-parent conferences,
newsletter mailings, bulletin
board announcements, and
bi-monthly information packages
complete with curriculum updates
and upcoming events.
My child has
special education needs. What
types of services do you
provide?
CKC
offers inclusive enrichment
programs as part of our Early
Foundations curriculum. We also
offer additional enrichment
programs onsite (for an
additional fee) including
computers and English language.
I only need
childcare two days of the week.
Is that possible?
CKC centers offer part-time and
flexible schedules. We will work
with you to develop a schedule
that will best meet you family's
needs.
Parent Communication
At CKC, we
encourage parents to be involved
as full partners and
participants in their child's
academic experience. Teachers
are available every day to
discuss your issues and
concerns. We also encourage you
to visit CKC anytime. When you
enroll your child at CKC ,
we'll keep you informed about
their progress through:
D1- Daily "What Your Child
Discovered Today" notes that
detail your preschooler's
activities.
P2- Parent-teacher conferences
(held at least 3 Times a year)
for a formal review of your
child's progress. Classroom
Bulletin Boards, where we post
the daily schedule, weekly
lesson plans, the weekly menu,
and more.
